November 17-21
Seniors: Church picture on December 2 at 10:30 am. Students wear church clothes. Boys in white shirt, blazer, ties and khaki pants; Girls should wear nice dress and shoes.
Life Science
Students are working on Frosty Phenotypes as part of our unit on Heredity. We will be examining Traits Thursday and Friday. Students will have a Test on Punnett Squares Wednesday. The test will be five questions based on the "Spongebob Genetics" activity we did in class Friday and Monday.
Biology
Chapter 8 Sections 2 and 3 are the focus for the week. Students will read and answer questions about the cell cycle and mitosis on Monday and Tuesday. Students will view a Biologix video about the Cell Cycle and Mitosis on Tuesday. Following the video, students will begin creating a mitosis flip book. This will be done in class and is due by Friday. We will also complete a reading "'Mitosis is one key to curing cancer". Students will have a 13 question quiz on Mitosis and Cancer on Friday.
Please remember to work on your Cell Organelle projects. They are due Monday, Dec. 1.
Anatomy
We will finish the skeletal system this week! Test Wednesday. We will begin the muscular system Thursday.
Forensics
We will continue our discussion of Impression Evidence. This week we will focus on Hairs and Fibers. Students will begin a Hair Evidence Lab Thursday.

Life Science
Test on Ch 10 Sections 2 and 3 Wednesday. Study IN 87, 96 and 97.
Answer questions on IN 103 about Strawberry DNA extraction.
We will begin Chapter 11 on Thursday. Our focus will be on heredity. We will be doing Punnett Square activities on Friday.
Biology
Wednesday: Test on Chapter 7. Students received a study guide Monday in class and glued it in their notebooks on page 128.
Thursday: We will start Chapter 8 SEction 1.
Friday: Chapter 8 Section 2. Cell Cycle Foldable
Anatomy
Wednesday: Quiz on bones of the ankles and feet. Notes on Joints
Thursday; NOtes on joints. Students complete joint fill in page. Quiz on Friday on Skull bones
Friday: Skull quiz. Notes on disorders. HW: students identify 6 disorders of the skeletal system not mentioned in notes. PRint a picture and a brief description.
