Life Science
We will continue in Chapter 15 with the Skeletal System. Students will complete a KWL foldable and notes on skeletal system Monday. Tuesday they will learn about long bones and complete a body organization chart. Wednesday students will learn about skeletal joints. Thursday they will label a skeleton and Friday they will complete a foldable on bone cells.
Biology
Mollusk project is due Tuesday. Ch 28 Arthropods is the focus this week. Students will take notes on arthropods Monday. Tuesday they will complete an arthropod color and label activity. Wednesday students will complete a spider drawing from page 749 in text on IN page 96. They will watch Bill NYe: Spiders and complete the student reflection on IN 96. Thursday students will complete an Arthropod comparative anatomy chart and work on Arthropod poetry. Friday we will view Bill Nye: Insects and complete a KWL as guided viewing for the video.
Anatomy
The Digestive System is the focus this week. Students will take notes Monday -Wednesday and complete color/label activities on the digestives system, the stomach, accessory organs and the mouth. Students will be assigned a Digestive System Tshirt project due April 2. We will wrap up the week with Bill NyeA: digestion.
Forensics
Toxicology is the topic of the week. STudents will take notes Monday. Tuesday they will read real life toxicology case studies. Students will learn about famous poisoners in history and will begin working on their poison projects.

Tennis was canceled today due to yucky court conditions. Tomorrow should be beautiful weather for tennis. We travel to Lakeside. Team will check out at 12 noon and grab a sandwich at Subway and depart for Lakeside at 12:30. We will eat after the match in Eufaula.

We are in Chapter 15 studying the Integumentary System. Today in class, students completed a foldable on the fingernail and heat and waste exchange through the skin. Your student should finish the heat and waste exchange foldable for homework if it was not completed in class. Use page 436 in textbook.
